Pennsylvania heating oil tank owners may apply for reimbursement of environmental cleanup costs from a release of heating oil from an underground tank. A $1,000 deductible applies (covered by the applicant's first $1,000 of costs), with remaining eligible costs reimbursed up to $4,000. Tanks must be 3,000 gallons or less, used for on-premises heating, with a release occurring or discovered on or after January 30, 1998. The deadline is June 30, 2026.
